There is also the Paseo de Las Canteras that has many shops, bars as also restaurants and the main shopping area of Las Palmas is known as Mesa y Lopez. The largest department store in Spain is the local thirteen storeys high El Corte Ingles which has everything a bargain hunter would wish for.

For the night life, you could visit Plaza de Espana, where you will enjoy partying into the late hours of the night and enjoy the sixties’ music in modern clubs or sample the more traditional Spanish bars as well as restaurants.
